Khikhi Qvevri

A remarkable Qvervi wine crafted using Georgian 8,000-year-old Qvevri winemaking method, in the historic 11th-century Alaverdi Monastery cellar. Made from the Khikhvi grape variety, cultivated in our vineyards, located in Akhmeta, this wine characterized with golden color, remarkable for Qvervri wine. On the nose it reveals notes of ripe stone fruits, subtle minerality, and a hint of smokiness, with delicate traces of wax. On the palate, it is vibrant and taut, offering a harmonious balance with a gentle bitterness and a finely spiced finish.
