Akhasheni

Akhasheni microzone, renowned for its Saperavi grape variety, offers a unique microclimate and terroir, where mature vineyards create ideal conditions for producing naturally semi-sweet red wine. The soil here is a mix of clay and limestone, with high alkalinity, which imparts a refined and elegant character to the wine. The grapes reach full ripeness between late September and early October, characterized by low acidity and high sugar concentration, highlighting the distinctive qualities of the Saperavi variety.

Mukuzani

Mukuzani microzone, planted with Saperavi vineyards, is dedicated to producing high-quality, full-bodied, deep red dry wines. The terroir here creates ideal conditions for growing premium grapes, which reach maturity in the second half of September. The soil is a blend of gravel and red clay, with moderate alkalinity, and the sugar concentration in the grapes is high. The resulting wine from the Saperavi variety boasts intense flavor and aromatic characteristics, underscoring its distinctive quality.

Kvareli

In the Kindzmarauli microzone of Kvareli, soils formed from slate brought down by the Durudji River from the mountains provide the foundation for high-quality Saperavi grapes. The long, warm summer and alluvial non-carbonated soil contribute to the production of naturally semi-sweet wines. Grapes harvested in early October are distinguished by intense aromas of black berries and a high sugar concentration, giving Kindzmarauli’s Saperavi its special appeal.

Akura

Tsinandali Microzone

Akura stands out for its vineyards of the Rkatsiteli grape variety, which is intended for producing high-quality, European-style dry white wines. The soil, rich in limestone and clay with strong alkalinity, ensures the unique flavor characteristics of Rkatsiteli. The sugar concentration is high, and the acidity is balanced. Harvest begins in the second half of September.

Alaverdi

Vineyards planted with Saperavi on alluvial, yellow clay soil provide the foundation for producing elegant, red dry wine. The grapes reach full ripeness in early October. The high sugar concentration results in a refined wine with relatively low acidity, enhancing its elegance.

Maghraani

The Maghraani microzone, home to vineyards of Kisi and Saperavi, is distinguished by its biodiversity and forest-derived humus-rich soil. Harvest takes place from early October until the end of the month, thanks to our tireless efforts. The grapes here have high sugar and acidity levels, with pronounced varietal flavors that are distinctly expressed.

Khorkheli

The Korkheli microzone, located at 400 meters above sea level, features alluvial soil similar to that of Alaverdi. At this altitude, the acidity of the harvest is higher, which creates a more intense flavor in the wine.

Giorgitsminda

Giorgitsminda’s vineyards are situated 600–700 meters above sea level and are known for their steep slopes. Grapes reach full ripeness by mid-October, and the terroir ensures high sugar and acidity levels, resulting in a high-quality, well-balanced red dry wine with rich fruit aromas.

Tokhiliauri

The Tokhliauri microzone is famous for its diverse grape varieties, including Rkatsiteli, Mtsvane, and Saperavi. This vineyard is characterized by limestone soil with mild alkalinity. The long, cool summer creates ideal conditions for sparkling wine production, and the grapes are noted for their delicate varietal aromas and low sugar concentration.
